Evidenced-based Programs
At Heath we use many approaches to promote social-emotional growth and to teach self-regulatory skills. The instruction is multi-pronged and multi-disciplinary in that the children learn consistent lessons from their classroom teachers, guidance counselor, school psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapist. The following programs have been selected on the basis of their proven track record indicated by research in the field, as well as by their appropriateness for the developmental characteristics of the child.
